  SURFING

Piedra Playa

A beach more than a kilometre long, where sand and large rocks follow one after the other. Unspoilt environment in an open area where the wind blows strongly and large waves form. It is somewhat isolated, and has to be reached from El Cotillo via dirt tracks, either on foot or by car.

Bristol

Localizada a 1 Km.

WINDSURFING

Playa Bajo Negro

Sandy and rocky bottom. The wind is from the left side "cross shore" and quite gusty on the inside. The wave is short but with a steep slope and strong current.

Playa La Barreta

Sandy bottom with some rocky areas. It works well with almost all directions, except for the cross on the left. Generally the wind blows sideways with a difference of 5 degrees from summer to winter.

El Castillo Beach

Sandy and shallow bottom, one of the best known beaches in the north of Fuerteventura. The wave forms quickly, it is big and powerful. The wind blows from the right. It works all year round and when there are waves, it is a spot for experts only.

  KITESURFING

Las Lajas de Punta Prieta

The enormous beach of Punta Prieta, better known as Flag Beach, is one of the most visited beaches in the municipality of La Oliva. With its turquoise waters and white sand, it is 1300 metres long and more than 300 metres wide. Thanks to the protection of the island of Lobos from storms, Flag Beach is the main spot in the north of the island for the practice of many nautical activities.
